Monterey Bay Area Math Project (MBAMP)
I was a member of the leadership team of the Monterey Bay Area Math Project (MBAMP) housed at UCSC from 2013-2016. MBAMP provides single and multi-day institutes, monthly mathematics collaborations, and on-site support for teachers and administrators. My work with the project includes planning and facilitating professional development for teachers in elementary and secondary grades. I designed and facilitated sessions on Re-Engagement Lessons, Meaty Math Problems, 21st Century Learning, Project-based Learning, and a variety of technology tools. I also contribute to MBAMP's social media presence.
